Kline Business Solutions is looking for an experienced Customer Service Support Technician to work at our location in Louisville, KY. You will provide client support for our point-of-sale product offerings, including the Aloha Point of Sale system and its various modules, while ensuring customer satisfaction and quality. Customer Service Support Technician – IT Analyst
Job Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Support Technician, you will be responsible for resolving all issues presented in a “first call resolution strategy" and escalating Severity 1 issues as necessary. You will serve as a front line technical representative responsible for understanding customer needs, resolving issues, and logging/closing customer calls in our CRM software. This includes, but is not limited to, software upgrades, system crash restores, printer troubleshooting and credit card issue resolution.
Your specific duties will include:
• Providing best in class remote support services
• Responding to customer cases and field inquiries via telephone and email in a timely and effective manner
• Installing Radiant Systems hardware
• Performing remote or onsite upgrades to Aloha Software
• Resolving network problems
• Ensuring that the site is 100% fully functional
• Escalating appropriate cases to fix customers problems in a timely manner, and following up on issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining a proactive approach concerning site issues
• Identifying trends both within the solution and with clients, reporting on the trend where appropriate, and providing supporting data
• Participating in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Learning new products and diagnostic tools
• Performing other job related duties as assigned

Job Requirements
As a Customer Service Support Technician, you must be dependable and punctual with a high level of integrity, confidentiality and professional maturity. You must also have solid time management skills as well as the ability to learn quickly and to function effectively under pressure and within company guidelines. It is also important that you demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong customer service abilities. We have seen great success from current and former restaurant managers so this is a perfect opportunity if you are looking to transition into a different industry!
Specific qualifications for the position include:
• High School diploma or equivalent; 2 to 4 year degree or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year technical support experience
• Minimum 1 year of help desk operations experience
• Demonstrated customer-focused, service-first attitude
• Strong time management skills
• Basic understanding of SQL database query
• Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP experience
• Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Previous experience in the food service industry or a related technology field strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years utilizing and/or supporting a Point of Sale Software Package preferred
• Networking topologies experience preferred
• Familiarity with Aloha POS software preferred
• Support desk experience in troubleshooting, analysis and/or resolution is a strong plus.
• A+ certification is a strong plus
• MCSE certification a strong plus
• Experience with firewalls, routers, and VPN technology a plus
• Restaurant Management experience a plus

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Associate is responsible for prospecting, managing and bringing to closure new business opportunities within targeted regional Table Service accounts, Quick Service accounts, and other relevant retail industries in a Reseller territory.
As a member of Kline's Sales Team, objectives will be focused on winning new business and managing customer relationships. Performance will be measured by the individual's ability to close new business with accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
· Manage and publish regular status reports including pipeline reports and sales forecasts
· Sell products and services in alignment with Kline's goals and objectives
· Develop in-depth knowledge of Aloha/Radiant Systems products and services
· Identify and qualify new account opportunities
· Work with Kline Sales Manager and Radiant Systems to structure winning solutions for challenging customer business problems
· Work in cooperation with Radiant Systems' teams to ensure a cohesive "Unified Radiant" approach with all customers and minimize conflict
· Work cross-functionally within organization to ensure all aspects of the Reseller business work together for best results for the company and customers
· Position Radiant Systems against competition
· Deliver presentations, proposals, and RFI/RFP responses
· Structure mutually beneficial financial relationships
· Other job related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree Business/Finance/Accounting/Technical (preferred) and minimum 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Prefer experience selling business applications software to hospitality or like industry.
Proven ability to Close:
- Demonstrated record of consistently meeting and exceeding annual sales quotas
- Ability to identify decision-makers and build strong relationships
- Comfortable meeting with either top executives or working owners.
- Strong consultative selling, and listening skills
